This website is operated by OUNCHAN (hereinafter referred to as “the Shop”). Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to OUNCHAN. The Shop offers this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of the following Terms of Service (“Terms” or “Service Conditions”).
These Terms apply to all users of the site. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or purchase any products.
The Shop may update or modify these Terms as needed. Continued use of the site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
1. Conditions for Using the Online Store
By using our services, you represent that you have reached the legal age of majority in your country or region, or that you are using the site with parental consent.
You may not use our services or site in violation of the laws of your country or region. You may not use our products for any illegal, unauthorized, or improper purpose.
You must not transmit viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature. If you violate these Terms, the Shop may immediately suspend or terminate your access to services.
The Shop aims to provide a fair and safe transaction environment for all customers worldwide. However, due to laws, import regulations, or shipping restrictions, we may be unable to sell or ship to certain countries or regions.
2. General Conditions
The Shop reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
Your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred unencrypted over networks. Credit card information is always encrypted.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the service or site without express written permission from the Shop.
3. Accuracy of Information
We strive to provide accurate information, but product descriptions, prices, and stock availability may contain errors or delays. Please check product pages for the latest information. Any actions taken based on posted information are at your own risk.
4. Changes to Prices and Services
Product prices may change without notice. The Shop reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service or products without prior notification. The Shop is not liable for any damages resulting from such changes.
5. Products and Services
Most of our products are one-of-a-kind items created from vintage kimono materials. Therefore, identical items cannot be restocked or reproduced.
Product colors and textures may appear different depending on monitor settings and lighting conditions. These differences are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
The Shop reserves the right to limit sales regions or quantities. Product descriptions and pricing may change at any time.
The Shop may decline orders at its discretion based on past order history or other factors.
6. Orders and Payment
The Shop may refuse orders at its sole discretion.
Accepted payment methods:

Payment timing follows each payment provider’s terms. For bank transfers, payment must be made within 7 days of ordering. Failure to do so may result in cancellation.
7. Delivery of Goods
Products are usually shipped within 3–5 business days after payment confirmation. During event periods or busy seasons, shipping may take up to one week.
For international shipping, delivery may take approximately 1–3 weeks depending on the shipping method and customs clearance.
Shipping delays caused by weather, disasters, customs, or holidays are not the Shop’s responsibility.
8. Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for customer convenience.
If the product is damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped due to our error, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will promptly arrange an exchange or refund.
Aging and weaving irregularities inherent to vintage materials are not considered defects.
The Shop will cover shipping costs for returns or exchanges due to our error.
9. Prohibited Activities
Customers must not engage in the following:
- Illegal or unlawful acts
- Defamation of the Shop or third parties
- Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or purchases for commercial purposes
- Transmission of viruses or harmful programs
- Any actions that harm the credibility of the Shop
10. Disclaimer
The Shop is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, transportation issues, communication failures, or customs delays.
Product colors may differ from actual items due to monitor settings and lighting conditions and are not grounds for returns or exchanges.
Variations caused by material characteristics are also not eligible for return.
For international shipments, customs duties and import fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
11. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All images, text, designs, logos, and product photos on this site are the property of the Shop. Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Shop does not guarantee the suitability or completeness of products or services for any specific purpose. The Shop is not liable for damages arising from the use of products or services.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under Japanese law. Any disputes related to the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Shop’s region.

You can review the latest version of the Terms on this page at any time. The Shop reserves the right to modify or update these Terms. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of such changes.

16. Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
Customers must provide accurate and up-to-date personal information (name, address, email address, payment details) at the time of purchase and update as needed. The Shop may withhold or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, past non-payment, or bulk orders intended for resale.
17. Pricing Errors and Corrections
If pricing or product information errors occur, the Shop may cancel affected orders and provide corrected information or refunds. If payment has already been processed, a refund will be issued promptly.
18. Transfer of Ownership and Risk
Ownership and risk of loss or damage are transferred to the customer when the product is handed over to the shipping carrier. Issues during shipping will be handled according to the carrier’s terms (except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Shop).
19. Customs, Taxes, and Incoterms
For international shipments, the Shop covers all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees, and shipping costs. Customers do not need to make any additional payments.
Shipments are made under Incoterms 2020 DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning the Shop is responsible for delivery to the customer's address and covers all related costs.
However, delays caused by local carriers, customs inspections, or other factors beyond the Shop’s control are not the Shop’s responsibility.
20. Third-Party Tools and Links
The site may include payment service providers, shipping carriers, and other third-party tools or links. The Shop is not responsible for the legality, accuracy, or availability of third-party services. Use is subject to each provider’s terms.
21. User-Generated Content (Reviews, etc.)
When customers post reviews or other content, the Shop retains the right to reproduce, edit, translate, or display such content on the website or social media without compensation, within the bounds of privacy and copyright laws. The Shop may remove inappropriate content at its discretion.
22. Severability, Assignment, and Language
(1) If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
(2) The Shop may assign its rights and obligations to a third party. Customers may not assign their rights without written consent from the Shop.
(3) If these Terms are provided in multiple languages, the Japanese version shall prevail.
